尚、日本のＲ指定とは意味合いがやや異なる（Restricted - under 17 requires accompanying parent or adult guardian）。
該当数はあまりにも膨大になるため、限定している。以下、Ａ：ランキング[話題作]にて４０位以内に入っているもの（'02.03.26現在） Ｂ：個人的に入れておきたかった映画 Ｃ：MPAAのRatingが無いもので、Ｒに該当するであろう作品（日本映画など）。

ＰＯＶ新機能を使用してつけた、Ａ〜Ｂの各映画へのＰＯＶコメントは、MPAA Movie Ratings より引用。それぞれＲ指定となっている理由。Ｂ、Ｃは順次追加予定。また、Ｄ、Ｅなども使えるかなと考えています（ＰＧ−１３だが、私的にはＲ指定など）。[話題作]ランキング映画は、４０作品中２３作品がＲ指定だったので、ちょっと驚き。
